So, Iapos;ve always pictured myself heavily tattooed and relatively pierced. Priorities, up until recently, have prevented me from getting things that Iapos;ve wanted (and please letapos;s not turn this into some sort of conversation on prioritizing for your mods, Iapos;d rather not discuss WHY I donapos;t have a tattoo yet =D).
I got to thinking, though - in the midst of meticulously mulling over my full sleeve concept - that it might be a bit odd and perhaps not entirely brilliant to get a full sleeve done right off the bat (even though Iapos;m thoroughly sold on the idea and have a pretty long list of mods and stuff that I want to get - is that weird?). Is it something you feel should be step-by-step? Get a small, modest tattoo, see how things go, then move on to bigger and better things? Or is it nuts to get a large piece done without bothering with prerequisites? ARE there pre-reqs? :P
Whatapos;s your "gateway" mod? My first non-ear piercing was my eyebrow. I had to take it out, though, when it started rejecting (sad day - I miss it). Did you go full hog, or start out with something small? Did you have a lot of different ideas, or some sort of body map, or was everything impulse (or a combination?)
Hopefully this will lead to some interesting conversation =D
